Job Description:

The Management Information System Specialist - Senior analyzes and develops IT systems possessing a wide range of capabilities, including business and information management. This specialist develops plans for systems from project inception through deployment and sustainment in support of the Director. They are also responsible to analyze proposed system modifications, upgrades, and new COTS. This specialist provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules. They are responsible for the completion of regular quality checks on database assuring accurate information, creating, and running data Integrity checks and undertaking appropriate follow up action, and ensuring maintenance of files. This specialist maintains systems which provides organized and written audit trail. Identifies and implements solutions to problems regarding operations and client flow and consults with users to determine source of specific error and recommends solution. This specialist role may also support the development of the security plans and the implementation of integrated security services management, and security awareness training. Also providing assistance for assessments, audits, risk analysis and incident response, and with the development, design and implementation of firewalls, and evaluation, review, and test of security code.

1. Develops and modifies as required operating policies and procedures and establishes and maintains policies, procedures and standards relating to database management.
2. Leads and communicates with teams in planning and implementing an integrated system.
3. Confers with Sr. Management Team, maximizing value of data and determining impact or changes on system. Provides regular management information to Management Team, including producing regular and ad hoc reports.
4. Reports any potential audit problems.

Task Description:
Ivalua certified systems engineer for design support and/or to develop advanced configuration for complex integrations (EAI, API and ETL) solutions for a complex order management system involving existing Ivalua supplier and contracts management modules. Must be able to debug and complete analysis of data/logs to solve findings, incidents/issues across all phases of implementation cycle. Must be able to interface with client and technical team to provide end to end assistance with problem solving solutions and technical oversight to include training and documentation. Must be able to manage and support testing and delivery of code into nonproduction and production environment instances.
