Our Human Capital department (HC), within the Internal Firm Services, assists the Firm in making a difference by fully leveraging the skills and talents of all our people. We focus on helping to drive the Firm’s people strategy, creating a unique people experience for each individual and supporting our Firmwide values by working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and Firmwide success in the marketplace.
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition and Development specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving our objective to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation in talent acquisition and a commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Skills and competences

  • Recruitment Skills: Expertise in all phases of the recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to work closely with business leaders and other relevant stakeholders to understand their recruitment needs and advise them effectively.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both in English and French) are essential for interacting with candidates, team members, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data to understand and analyse the trends in recruitment and provide reports to the business leaders and other relevant stakeholders. Innovation and Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and employ innovative approaches to attract and retain top talent.

  • Leadership: Experience in mentoring or coaching junior staff, even informally, can be beneficial.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Act as a ‘trusted advisor’ responsible for understanding the recruitment needs and developing effective hiring programmes.

  • Proactively source, identify, and engage with qualified candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.

  • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.

  • Identify processes and procedures that will enhance the employee’s lifecycle.

  • Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate’s process.

  • Implement employer branding activities such as actively posting job openings on LinkedIn, social media platforms, and the company website.

  • Represent the company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve recruitment programmes.

  • Work closely with the marketing department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges.

What do you need to have:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is usually required.

  • 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, development,or a similar role within human resources.

  • Experience in a professional services firm or a similarly complex and dynamic industry is preferred.
