Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Engage as well as possibly lead audits in corporate function areas including Finance, Investment, Risk Management, HR as well as other areas such as Product Development, Corporate Strategy, Marketing, etc. in accordance with the Company’s internal audit policy/methodology
  • Perform SOX testing
  • Perform AUU risk assessment in the areas noted above aimed to support the annual audit plan
  • Summarize audit findings and draft audit issues and report
  • Engage in globally led audits
  • Establish good relationships and mutual trust with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead, supervise and coach auditors

Requirements:

Experience:

  • 8+ years of external audit experience at Big Four accounting firm or 8+ years of internal audit experience at foreign owned/leading domestic life insurance or comparable financial industry including SOX testing

Skills:

  • Business knowledge on life insurance industry in accounting, finance, investment, actuarial, risk management, product development areas
  • Business communication and presentation skills (Japanese/English)
  • Good project management skill (delivering audit results by due date)
  • Data analytics

Qualifications:

CPA (Japanese or US) or CIA 

Language:

Japanese: Native , English: Business level
