Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of work experience in sales, operations, consulting or vendor management.
  • Experience working in sales operations and/or a direct marketing environment.
  • Experience in vendor strategy consulting and/or managing a sales vendor onsite in a multi-program hub.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in vendor management.
  • Experience with leading Customer Relationship Management tools.
  • Experience managing multiple complex sales programs within a vendor environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of online advertising.
  • Developed analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to speak and write Japanese and English fluently and idiomatically.

As a Vendor Strategy and Operations Lead, you'll play a key role in planning vendor workforce strategy along with country directors. You will be responsible for selecting the third party providers, agreement negotiation, and managing onsite relationships with sales vendors in Japan. You will be a strategic partner and guide for vendor leadership to develop excellence in sales delivery and set the right organizational structure and systems including talent recruitment, performance management, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vendor workforce strategy for Japan across multiple business and acquisitions programs and set up right vendors to execute the strategy. Be a strategic guide, coach and manager for the entire operation.
  • Manage vendor capacity through continuously monitoring active headcount, recruitment pipelines and ongoing demand for resources from the lines of business, to ensure optimum resourcing at all times on site.
  • Work with the vendor(s) to develop right talent strategy and plan for growth as well as increasing complexity in the business.
  • Develop training standards and infrastructure including putting in place right measurements for training efficacy.
  • Lead business reviews along with sales directors and vendor leadership and guide the group through action plans.
