Profile: Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager – RHC Valuations, VME SaT

Skills and Abilities:

  • In depth knowledge of Capital Equipment Valuation including, but not limited to elements of financial reporting, taxation and corporate restructuring, fixed asset register (FAR), capital expenditure estimation and depreciation expense estimation
  • Hands on experience on impairment studies, purchase price allocation, cost investigations, fit-out valuations, LIE, FAR preparation
  • Proficiency in RHC Valuation concepts and experience on working on valuing real estate assets is preferred
  • Sector and market expertise (Middle East and North Africa) would be an advantage.
  • Well versed with valuation concepts and best practices
  • Competent and thorough in accounting and regulated related requirements, concepts and standards from valuation aspect - IFRS and GAAP guidelines on capital equipment valuation
  • Working knowledge in Analytical tools (Argus, Spot fire, Alteryx etc.) is an added advantage
  • Delivery of real estate advisory services including preparation of feasibility studies, destination strategy, tourism product development (leisure and entertainment), growth/expansion/entry strategies, highest-and-best use analysis and comparable/ benchmarking analysis.
  • Financial analysis experience with the ability to link operational analysis to P&L, cash flow and balance sheet.
  • Analysing a company's historic/current financial situation as well as preparing slides based on the analysis or insights perceived from the financial statement or business model.
  • Should be able to co-ordinate and accomplish multiple projects, including planning, scoping of the requirement, assisting with data collection/ analysis; and business writing and disseminating research results based on the type of project.
  • Proactively engage with customer/stakeholders to Identify, build and develop new opportunities.
  • Adherence of all process compliance as well as timely reporting of facts & figures.
  • Good business sense, logical reasoning and should be to conceptualize project storyboard.
  • Experienced in presenting and writing findings clearly in reports and other deliverables to clients
  • Should have presentation & business writing skills as well as good excel knowledge.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • CA / ACCA / CFA or MBA – Finance (preferably from a premier institute) with a good academic background (in the order of highest qualification preference)
  • B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably from a premier institute) with a good academic background
  • 4-7 years of related work experience
  • Experience with a Big-4 in similar role or with a leading real estate valuation/consultancy firm or with industry leading real estate developer is a must
  • Demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges in a collaborative team environment
  • A strong desire to continually develop themselves and others
  • Ability to successfully execute projects including the work of team members, client interaction, quality of service and expenditures against budget and revenue
  • Ability to provide best practice guidance to team members to ensure the completion of work deliverables at the highest level of quality
  • Working knowledge in MS Excel with VBA skills and exposure to various Analytics tools including Argus, Estate Mater, Spotfire, Tableau, Altryx is preferred
  • General PC proficiency including Word, and PowerPoint
