We are looking for a Web Application Engineer who is passionate about transforming Japan’s massive real estate market through technology.

By leveraging market data from transactions worth tens to hundreds of billions of yen, you will contribute to building innovative products that create entirely new value for the industry.

Working with modern technologies such as React, Next.js, Rust, and GraphQL, you will be part of a small, highly autonomous team that rapidly delivers products to market. Job Description

You will work within a cross-functional team of approximately five members, including engineers, product managers, and designers, with a shared goal of maximizing product value.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new product features that deliver value to customers
Improve system architecture and implementation to resolve technical challenges and enhance performance
Build proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and prototypes utilizing real estate data
Launch new products and strategic projects
Contribute to improving the team's technical capabilities and maximizing business impact

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:

Hold a degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field
Graduate of a College of Technology (KOSEN)
Have publicly available personal software development projects (e.g., GitHub portfolio, open-source contributions, independent applications)
Demonstrate outstanding technical achievements through one of the following:
- AtCoder Rating of 800 or higher (Green rank)
- Kaggle Expert or above
- Award-winning experience in programming competitions or hackathons

Preferred Qualifications

Frontend development experience using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
Backend development experience using web application frameworks
Hands-on experience with technologies such as Rust, Ruby, TypeScript, and AWS
Experience launching and developing proprietary products or services
Experience in continuous product development, operation, and maintenance
Project management and/or engineering team leadership experience

Benefits

Compensation

Annual Salary: Up to JPY 7,000,000
Opportunity for salary reviews and promotions twice per year, based on performance

Tokyo Midtown, Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo
Hybrid work arrangement available
Candidates are expected to reside within the Greater Tokyo Area (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, or Chiba), with a commuting distance of approximately 90 minutes or less
