Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Account Manager to join our Japan client-facing team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong sales potential and an interest in financial markets.

The Account Manager will focus on client conversion, onboarding, and long-term relationship management, supporting the growth of the client base through high-volume outbound and inbound engagement.

You will work closely with manager of the team to develop product knowledge, sales skills, and client management capabilities in a KPI-driven environment. In addition there will be strong collaboration with the marketing team for arranging and participating in customer events.

Primary duties will include:

  • Proactively contact inbound and outbound opportunities to convert them into traded accounts
  • Support clients through onboarding, account setup, and initial funding process
  • Maintain high daily contact volume and consistent follow-up cadence via phone, email, and live chat
  • Assist new clients with platform usage, funding, and trading basics
  • Maintain regular contact with newly converted clients to encourage activation
  • Introduce and promote referral programmes to eligible clients
  • Log all client interactions accurately in CRM systems
  • Monitor conversion pipeline and prioritise high-potential leads
  • Provide tailored solutions aligned with client profile and trading needs
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of active clients, including high-value clients
  • Maintain structured, proactive engagement (calls, meetings, targeted follow-ups)
  • Monitor client behaviour and proactively address churn risks
  • Identify opportunities to increase deposits, trading activity, and product adoption
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (e.g. call volume, conversion rate, revenue target)
  • Participate in webinars

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in sales, customer service, or financial services
  • Strong interest and knowledge in FX/CFD or financial markets
  • Strong communication, analytical, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to build client relationships
  • Highly motivated, KPI-driven, and resilient
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English
  • JSDA and Representative License
