Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the enterprise AI Governance Strategy, policies, standards, and operating model; define governance structures, decision-making forums, and escalation processes.
- Establish AI lifecycle governance (ideation through retirement) and controls supporting responsible adoption of AI-enabled operations and automation.
- Lead AI risk assessments (operational, security, compliance, legal, financial, reputational, model risk) and define processes for model validation, approval, and ongoing monitoring.
- Develop controls for AI explainability, accountability, auditability, and traceability, including oversight of autonomous operations and AI-driven decision-making.
- Partner with security, privacy, legal, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance; define audit/reporting mechanisms and support internal/external audits.
- Define data governance requirements (quality, lineage, ownership, retention, stewardship) supporting AI models, including managing data bias and quality issues.
- Define governance metrics/KPIs and reporting standards; oversee governance of predictive analytics, intelligent automation, AIOps, and self-service solutions.
- Establish governance and due diligence processes for AI-related vendors and third-party providers, including contractual and risk assessment requirements.
- Chair/lead AI Governance Boards, Review Committees, and Risk Forums; provide executive reporting; educate stakeholders on responsible AI practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Law, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology, governance, risk management, compliance, security, architecture, or operational leadership.
- 5+ years of experience governing AI, analytics, automation, digital transformation, or emerging technology programs.
- Proven experience developing enterprise governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models.
- Experience within complex, multi-vendor, large-scale managed services or enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated success influencing executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional governance initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AI, ML, Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, Intelligent Automation, and AIOps.
- Deep knowledge of AI governance principles, model risk management, and AI lifecycle controls.
- Experience implementing governance frameworks for enterprise technology platforms and cloud environments.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality management, metadata management, and data protection controls.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management, operational governance, and enterprise transformation programs.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise monitoring, analytics platforms, and automation toolsets.
- Understanding of security controls, privacy requirements, and regulatory considerations affecting AI solutions.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
