Position Overview
This role combines one of Japan’s largest real estate datasets with cutting-edge AI technologies to uncover hidden insights about cities, visualize previously unseen value, and create entirely new markets. You will be involved throughout the full product lifecycle—from Proof of Concept (PoC) and MVP development to real-world product deployment—while applying the latest technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and MLOps in practical business environments. This position offers the opportunity to drive meaningful impact from both a technical and business perspective.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems
Design and implement AI models and data pipelines
Build and operate MLOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and alerting frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to develop and deploy applications
Plan and develop new AI-driven products, from PoC through MVP stages
Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and define AI use cases and requirements
Drive product growth and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements
Strong software engineering experience with a proven track record of building and delivering production systems
Solid foundation in software engineering principles, architecture, and best practices
Experience improving system reliability, scalability, and maintainability
Hands-on experience with multiple programming languages and technologies, along with the ability to select appropriate technologies based on business and technical requirements
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, product, and design stakeholders
Experience driving projects from Proof of Concept (PoC) through production deployment and commercialization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and APIs such as ChatGPT/OpenAI APIs
Knowledge of MLOps practices and machine learning infrastructure
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Development experience in startups or new business ventures
Experience working in small, fast-paced engineering teams
Experience in continuous product development, operation, and maintenance
Project management and/or engineering team leadership experience

Compensation
Annual Salary: Up to JPY 15,000,000
Opportunity for salary reviews and promotions twice per year, based on performance

Hybrid work arrangement available
Candidates are expected to reside within the Greater Tokyo Area (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, or Chiba), with a commuting distance of approximately 90 minutes or less
