Job Description
Lead the end-to-end delivery of advanced Generative AI initiatives, with practical hands-on experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Microsoft Copilot solutions within the Azure ecosystem. The candidate must be dynamic, committed, and capable of preparing, tracking, managing, and driving projects, with excellent communication skills and experience handling multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of GenAI projects from Proof-of-Concept (PoC) to deployment on Azure, managing scope, timelines, and budget
- Supervise technical teams in developing RAG pipelines, LLM-based assistants, and agentic workflows
- Coordinate the implementation and extension of Microsoft 365 Copilots and custom Copilot Studio agents
- Manage GenAI-specific risks including hallucination mitigation, data privacy, PII masking, and Responsible AI guardrails, ensuring compliance with internal AI governance
- Execute large-scale migrations and implementations
- Drive major IT projects, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, setting timelines, holding people accountable, and delivering projects on time and on budget
- Plan and manage multiple stakeholders, including client, offshore, and cross-functional teams, to deliver projects
- Manage governance and collate project status reports at regular intervals to the leadership team
- Maintain daily/weekly cadence on project/program reviews and reporting to internal stakeholders
- Track, report, and manage schedule and cost variance across projects
- Identify issues and risks, and track them through to closure, mitigation, or resolution across all cloud transformation projects
Required Qualifications
- 12–16 years of experience
- Practical, hands-on experience implementing RAG pipelines, LLMs, and Microsoft Copilot solutions within the Azure ecosystem
- Experience in Azure services and technologies
- Understanding of GenAI, RAG, LLM, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, and Copilot
- Experience with ADO or any project management tools
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience executing large-scale migrations and implementations
- Experience driving major IT projects, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, setting timelines, holding people accountable, and delivering on time and on budget
- Expertise in planning and managing multiple stakeholders, including client, offshore, and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills and experience handling multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong communication skills with effective and efficient stakeholder management
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Experience working with tight deadlines and handling escalations
Languages: Native level Japanese (JLPT N1) and Business level English
