Role

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Boutique Staff member to join Aman Essentials Boutique Staff at Janu Tokyo. This role is ideal for a dynamic retail and hospitality professional who thrives in a modern luxury environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Boutique Staff member, you will be the face of Aman Essentials, providing personalized service, sharing product knowledge, and creating meaningful connections with guests through every interaction. You will play a key role in representing the Aman lifestyle brand while supporting the smooth daily operation of the boutique.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a seamless and personalized shopping experience
  • Deliver exceptional customer service that reflects the values and luxury standards of Aman Essentials and Janu Tokyo
  • Provide detailed product knowledge and thoughtful recommendations tailored to guest preferences and needs
  • Support sales activities, including product presentation, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities
  • Process purchases, payments, exchanges, and other transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain boutique cleanliness, organisation, visual merchandising standards, and stock presentation
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and support inventory management processes
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and feedback with professionalism and care
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and support boutique operations
  • Assist with administrative duties, reporting, and general retail operations when required

Requirements

  • Practical experience as a retail shop sales associate or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Business conversational level English proficiency (CEFR B1 or higher)
  • Advanced business-level Japanese proficiency (CEFR C1 or higher)
  • Basic PC skills including MS Office and typing
    *Candidates with exceptional experience or skills may be considered even if they do not meet every point
