Role
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Boutique Staff member to join Aman Essentials Boutique Staff at Janu Tokyo. This role is ideal for a dynamic retail and hospitality professional who thrives in a modern luxury environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Boutique Staff member, you will be the face of Aman Essentials, providing personalized service, sharing product knowledge, and creating meaningful connections with guests through every interaction. You will play a key role in representing the Aman lifestyle brand while supporting the smooth daily operation of the boutique.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a seamless and personalized shopping experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service that reflects the values and luxury standards of Aman Essentials and Janu Tokyo
- Provide detailed product knowledge and thoughtful recommendations tailored to guest preferences and needs
- Support sales activities, including product presentation, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities
- Process purchases, payments, exchanges, and other transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain boutique cleanliness, organisation, visual merchandising standards, and stock presentation
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and support inventory management processes
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and feedback with professionalism and care
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and support boutique operations
- Assist with administrative duties, reporting, and general retail operations when required
Requirements
- Practical experience as a retail shop sales associate or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Business conversational level English proficiency (CEFR B1 or higher)
- Advanced business-level Japanese proficiency (CEFR C1 or higher)
- Basic PC skills including MS Office and typing
