Facilities Operations is accountable for consistent, right-sized, and data-driven operations across Bloomberg’s global workplace portfolio0. We balance risk, cost, employee experience, operational resilience, and long-term planning while continuously maintaining and improving our offices.


What’s the role?

As a Facilities Operations Lead, you will help Facilities and Workplace Experience Operations scale globally by translating strategic priorities into structured execution, governance frameworks, process standards, and data-led operational insights.

You will sit between global direction and regional delivery — helping standardize processes, strengthen governance, enable data-led decisions, and drive cross-functional execution across Facilities and Workplace Experience Operations. You will partner closely with regional Facilities teams, Team Leaders, Finance, Business Intelligence, Workplace Experience, Infrastructure, Design, Capital Projects, Procurement, and other partner teams to ensure global priorities are implemented consistently and effectively.

This role requires strong operational judgment, structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, and the ability to turn complex workstreams into clear plans, measurable outputs, and sustainable operating practices.


We will trust you to:

  • Strategic Program Execution & Operating Model Enablement
    • Translate global Facilities and Workplace Experience Operations priorities into clear workstreams, milestones, ownership models, and execution plans.
    • Lead regional and global programs and initiatives from design through implementation, adoption, and operational handover.
    • Support operating model changes, including role clarity, service ownership, workflow design, and regional readiness planning.
    • Partner across regions and functions to resolve execution gaps and support consistent delivery.
    • Balance global standards with appropriate regional and local operating needs.
  • Metrics, Data & Performance Reporting
    • Develop and maintain operational metrics frameworks that support performance visibility, accountability, and leadership decision-making.
    • Partner with Business Intelligence and operational teams to align dashboards, KPI structures, reporting outputs, and scorecards.
    • Analyze operational, financial, and service performance data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Support leadership reporting, quarterly portfolio reviews, management committee metrics, and other performance review processes.
    • Support the evolution of operational performance measurements, including metrics, reporting, and accountability frameworks.
  • SOP-Driven Operations & Knowledge Governance
    • Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs, service catalogs, operating guidelines, playbooks, and process documentation.
    • Connect services, SOPs, ownership, governance standards, and metrics to support consistent execution and clearer operational accountability.
    • Define documentation standards, review cadences, and minimum operating expectations across regions.
    • Identify opportunities to simplify, consolidate, or standardize processes.
    • Ensure operational documentation remains current, accessible, practical, and aligned with global Facilities Operations standards.
  • Financial Governance & Planning Support
    • Support budget planning, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and long-term planning across Facilities Operations.
    • Partner with Finance and regional stakeholders to improve financial visibility, planning discipline, and budget governance.
    • Help develop standardized budget planning and reporting workflows across regions.
    • Analyze spend trends, vendor costs, capital and operating budget assumptions, and financial risks.
    • Support opportunities for cost optimization and improved financial governance through better data, process clarity, and ownership.
  • Systems, Tools & Digital Enablement
    • Support Facilities and Workplace Experience Operations systems, workflow tools, reporting platforms, and data quality improvements.
    • Partner with global teams on system enhancements, adoption planning, and change management.
    • Improve operational visibility through better data structure, system usage, and reporting consistency.
    • Support digital enablement initiatives that improve knowledge access, workflow efficiency, and operational decision-making.
    • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate manual processes and reduce inconsistent workflows.
  • Vendor, Risk & Compliance Support
    • Support vendor governance through performance tracking, compliance review, vendor risk assessment, and transition planning.
    • Partner with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and regional Facilities teams during vendor-related initiatives, RFPs, and issue resolution.
    • Support internal and external audit processes by maintaining required documentation and coordinating follow-up actions.
    • Identify operational risks, governance gaps, and compliance issues, and help coordinate mitigation plans.
    • Develop structured communications, templates, and decision frameworks to support consistent execution and change adoption.
    • Support Facilities and Workplace Experience Operation BCP planning and readiness, including documentation, escalation workflows, stakeholder coordination, and post-incident follow-up actions.
  • Communications, Change Management & Cross-Functional Delivery
    • Coordinate across Facilities and Workplace Experience Operations and partner teams to support delivery of global and regional priorities.
    • Develop structured communications, templates, playbooks, and decision frameworks to support consistent execution.
    • Support change adoption for new workflows, operating models, systems, standards, and global initiatives.
    • Facilitate stakeholder readiness, feedback loops, and issue resolution across workstreams.
    • Ensure decisions, actions, owners, and follow-ups are clearly documented and progressed.


You'll need to have:

  • Recent experience in Facilities Operations, Workplace Operations, or Program Management within a related business operations function.
  • Demonstrated experience leading operational improvement, transformation, or change management initiatives, including implementation of new processes, operating models, SOPs, or governance frameworks.
  • Experience working within a multinational organisation, partnering across multiple teams, stakeholder groups, functions, or regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic priorities into structured workstreams, operating plans, governance frameworks, or measurable operational outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, or workstreams in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Experience working with operational systems, workflow tools, reporting platforms, or business applications to improve visibility, efficiency, or service delivery.
  • Experience using data, metrics, reporting, or dashboards to support operational decision-making, performance management, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience supporting budget planning, or financial reporting for operational functions.
  • Experience supporting vendor governance, including performance reviews or risk assessment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience preparing leadership updates, process documentation, operational reports, or decision-making materials.
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation
  • Bachelor’s degree or degree-equivalent qualifications
