Description
* Comprehend and adhere to the company's revenue recognition guidelines.
* Manage day-to-day activities within the Order to Cash process, including invoicing, cash allocation, and handling customer deposits.
* Collaborate with FP&A, Commercial, and Customer Services departments to address any discrepancies in accounts receivable.
* Provide supervision to team members within the accounts receivable department.
* Execute month-end closing procedures in accordance with company policies, ensuring thorough breakdowns of balance sheet accounts for quality control purposes.
* Regularly review customer accounts to maintain appropriate credit risk levels.
* Forecast and analyze Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
* Contribute to various finance projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
* Play a pivotal role in fostering a cohesive and high-performing team environment.
Profile
* Bachelor's or undergraduate university degree
* Ability to conduct business in Japanese. Daily conversational level of English is preferred
* Experience in accounting
* Good to have: ERP system experience
