Job Summary
Define key responsibilities to reflect the duties and responsibilities of this role.
• Distribute Flow / Derivative products of multiple asset classes (FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities, Money Market, etc) to Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) clients.
• Develop and maintain existing clients for the purpose of maximising client experience, revenues and enhancing the reputation of Standard Chartered in the market.
Business
• Ensure all deals are done within counterparty limits.
• Ensure all deals are done are appropriate and suitable to clients (under Enterprise Appropriate Framework (EAF)).

Processes
• The job is responsible under Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) / Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) as 1st line – MARKETS Sales.
Risk Management
• Be responsible for controlling and mitigating risks to the firm in the course of MARKETS Sales business. Also, an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the firm and the role the individual plays in managing them, especially but not limited to those relevant to Sales, is required.
• Include all relevant responsibilities Under Risk Management Framework for first line / execution.
Governance
• Help to ensure effective governance, oversight, and controls in the Sales business
• Have awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the firm operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. • Work with Traders and Structuring to provide good prices and ideas to our clients
• Work with Risk / Control functions to ensure all risks associated with the conduct of business are reasonable and mitigated
• Work with Coverage and other Flow / Structured Sales closely
External
• Develop and maintain new / existing Client business
• Work under strict compliance with rules by Regulators
Qualifications
• Academic or Professional Education/Qualifications: University graduate
• Licences and Certifications/accreditations: Japan Securities Dealers Association (JSDA) License Type 1
