The 123-room Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is the company’s second destination in Japan, in the city’s historic Higashiyama-ku district, close to the Kyoto National Museum and myriad heritage sites such as the Toyokuni Shrine and Kiyomizu Temple. Local artists are featured throughout the traditionally-inspired modern décor characterised by an understated Japanese aesthetic. ABOUT THE ROLE :
Understand and perform job duties to the expectations of all F&B outlets including the EMBA and Tea House.
Takes ownership of the Bar & Lounge, knowing the names and preferences of our guests and VIPs, greeting, seating, running, bussing, re-setting of the SEY and EMBA restaurant, etc.
Executes and facilitates service in cooperation with other service staff and Managers. Facilitates the communication between the FOH & HOH.
Taking and making beverage orders.
Welcome all guests and ensure guests receive responsive, professional, and gracious service at all times.
Develops rapport with guests.
Maintain a clean, safe environment all times at the bar.
Job Requirements:
2+ years of experience in bar environment
Detail-oriented and self starter
Strong customer service skills and emotional intelligence
Ability to truly connect with guests & staff
Team player
Ability to work AM & PM shifts Monday - Sunday according to business
