Job Title: Lead Business Development Manager, Enterprise and Strategic Account

Report to: Senior Director, APAC Enterprise Strategic Accounts

Location: Tokyo Japan

General Purpose of the Job

  • Drives revenue growth with strategic and emerging accounts in Japan.
  • Defines strategic account strategies with the country teams.
  • Drives account planning best practice.
  • Develops management cadence.
  • Hunts and penetrates emerging accounts directly by working with the pre-sales team, channel partners, and local sales.
  • Maintains an exceptional understanding of the strategic accounts’ strategies, positioning to customer business organizations, and the priorities of various purchase decisions.
  • Knows Juniper's key solution value propositions.
  • Drives solution-led account penetration initiatives.
  • Works with the country teams to directly drive the most strategic initiatives. Coaches and supports the country teams on how to win with resources and support from across Juniper.
  • Pulls together resources across Marketing, Channel, Services, Solution Sales, Engineering BUs, Finance, and Operations to maximize the profitable growth in the strategic accounts
  • Achieves significant account growth.

Main Responsibility Areas

  • Achievement of annual sales plan with allocated strategic accounts in Japan market.
  • Develops strategic account engagement plans covering all key stakeholders including ecosystem partners.
  • Develops and executes emerging account GTM strategies to drive new revenue.
  • Manages account operation and management cadence (sets and checks milestones, performance monitoring, key issue escalation, regular reports to the management).
  • Drives GTM with an integrated approach. Be the liaison for function teams.
  • Works closely with the country teams and Channel teams on aligning partner coverage. Leverage partner resources to win.
  • Works closely with Marketing and Solution Sales teams to drive new solution business.
  • Collaborates with APAC sales engineering leadership to drive account-specific solution requirements.

Required Working Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in networking infrastructure, security and software sales is desirable in addition to a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in delivering revenue growth by penetrating into and winning new accounts.
  • Proven track records in building large enterprise accounts from small to US$10M+ is a plus.
  • Strong experience in operating in matrix organizations.
  • Ability to drive multi-functional collaborations.
  • Experience or sales leadership roles overseas.
  • Broad-based technological awareness in the internetworking industry, complemented by knowledge of data networking concepts, network security, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong track record of driving sales through channel partners in the Networking and/or Software space.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to prioritize in a dynamic, changing environment.
