Opportunity

If you’re an experienced Business Development Specialist or Account Manager with a keen interest in Quantum Computing, then OQC has an exciting opportunity! We’re currently looking for our first Business Development Specialist to join our team in Japan and work closely with our Country manager to grow our business capabilities.

Role

As a Business Development Specialist, you’ll be responsible for helping grow our network in Japan and keep track of the current trends within the Quantum Computing community. You’ll be expected to attend and speak at relevant deep-tech conferences, help turn potential leads into new business, look at gaps in the market for OQC to move into and work with our global marketing and commercial teams as we scale in Japan.

Skills + experience

To be successful in this role you’ll:

• Be fluent in Japanese both written and spoken
• Have a good grasp of English (written and spoken)
• Have experience working in the Deep-Tech/Emerging-Tech industry and knowledge of market trends in Japan
• Come from a Business Development/Account Management background
• Be confident speaking at and attending conferences related to Quantum Computing
• Ideally have knowledge of Cloud Computing or HPC and a background selling to HPC/Cloud Customers or selling HPC/Cloud products.
