The opportunity
As an Assistant Director – Intranet Manager, the individual will be responsible for the day-to-day execution, optimisation, training and governance of the intranet. The role will focus on ensuring the platform operates effectively, consistently, and in alignment with the firm’s strategic direction, while enabling improved user experience, content quality, and measurable engagement.
The role will work closely with global and regional stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into practical intranet enhancements and operational delivery.
Your key responsibilities
Product optimisation and platform management
- Support continuous optimisation of the intranet experience, working with relevant teams to enhance UX and user journey enhancements
- Drive CMS and authoring improvements to improve usability and content quality
- Ensure the platform operates reliably and consistently across regions and use cases
Backlog and delivery management
- Manage the intranet backlog, including intake, prioritisation, and tracking of enhancements
- Coordinate dependencies across teams and stakeholders to support effective delivery
- Maintain visibility of roadmap progress and key priorities
Analytics and insight translation
- Support interpretation of intranet analytics and performance data
- Translate data insights into practical, actionable recommendations
- Contribute to reporting that informs optimisation, engagement, and content strategy decisions
Governance and standards
- Support channel governance frameworks, ensuring effective and consistent use of the intranet
- Reinforce content standards, best practices, and publishing guidelines
- Work with stakeholders to improve adherence to governance expectations
Stakeholder support and escalation management
- Act as the first point of escalation for intranet-related enhancement requests
- Provide day-to-day enablement, guidance, and support to content authors and stakeholders
- Facilitate resolution of issues impacting platform usage or content delivery
Training and capability building
- Identify gaps in authoring capability and platform understanding
- Develop and maintain training materials and guidance assets
- Support rollout of training initiatives to improve adoption and platform effectiveness
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong experience in intranet or digital channel management
- Understanding of UX principles and content design best practices
- Ability to interpret analytics and translate insights into actions
- Experience managing backlogs, prioritisation, and stakeholder requests
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Structured, detail-oriented approach to governance and operations
- Capability to create and deliver training materials

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Significant experience in internal communications, intranet, or digital channel management
- Proven ability to manage operational delivery and stakeholder engagement
- Experience working with CMS platforms and content governance models
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience working with analytics and reporting tools
- Familiarity with content management systems
- Exposure to digital transformation or platform optimisation initiatives
- Experience designing or delivering training
