Eku Energy is thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Chief Electrical Engineer in Japan to join our vibrant team. As a Chief Electrical Engineer, you will be installing private electrical facilities, in accordance with Electricity Business Act in Japan, appoint a CEE to supervise the construction, maintenance, and safe operation of electrical facilities for each business site or facility.

This position is to be based permanently at or near Hirohara, Miyazaki prefecture, or 2 hours by car in the area. This is a requirement for the position. Reporting operationally to the Project Manager, you will contribute to our mission of driving the transition towards a low-carbon, sustainable global economy through our innovative battery storage investments.

Requirements

• Execute all the obligation required by Electricity Business Act.

• Report the regular inspection result including any actual and potential fault, proper remedial action plans for them and confirm those actions are done properly to CEE’s supervisor and Kyushu Local METI Office.

• Prepare specific “Maintenance Provision” for Hirohara BESS.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Must have 5years+ work experience for 22kV+ electrical facility as a 2nd Grade CEE (第2種電気主任技術者)

Must be Permanently situated in a town within 2 hours by car to Hirohara

Must have a Driver’s License

Excellent team-oriented personality

Excellent communication skill in Japanese (English preferred)

Excellent digital tool use skill [Preferable]
