Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, build, and migrate complex IT infrastructure to optimize cloud environments
- Provide expert consultation on cloud architecture and technology selection for new projects
- Utilize advanced technical skills in AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Develop comprehensive understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture and public cloud services
- Formulate governance policies and design rules for cloud system environments
- Conduct initial consultations on cloud architecture and technology adoption
- Review and approve vendor-created technical materials
- Pre-consult cloud environment provisioning and serve as point of contact for infrastructure requests
- Design and implement hybrid and multi-cloud operational environments
- Improve shared cloud infrastructure and enhance security standards
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
- Implement Cloud DevOps practices and automation
Job Qualifications:
- Proven experience across the full lifecycle: requirements definition, design, development, testing, and operations (on-premises and/or cloud)
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience designing and building cloud infrastructure architecture
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud-native solution design and implementation
- Strong technical evaluation and selection skills considering both functional and non-functional requirements (availability, performance, security, cost)
- Proficiency in operating system skills (Windows Server, Linux)
- Strong problem-solving ability with logical approach to technical challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated sense of responsibility and initiative to drive tasks to completion
- Superior information organization and client communication skills
- Project management and stakeholder coordination experience
Preferred Skills:
- AWS or Microsoft Azure certification(s)
- Knowledge and experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Programming experience in any language (Java, C#, Python, SQL, Shell, etc.)
- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Knowledge of containerization and serverless architecture patterns
Languages Required: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2 and above) and Business level English.
