One of our clients is looking for an Indonesia Business Development & Partnership Manager to bridge their Japan headquarters with the Indonesian market and drive strategic growth initiatives in Southeast Asia.

About the Job
This position is based in Tokyo and plays a key role in supporting and managing partnerships with local companies in Indonesia. Acting as a bridge between headquarters and overseas partners, you will be responsible for coordinating business operations, ensuring governance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
This is not a pure coordination role — the company is looking for someone who can grow into a leadership position and take ownership of partner management and international business operations in the future.

About the Team
You will join the International Business Division, a strategic unit responsible for driving overseas expansion. The headquarters team consists of approximately 80 members, primarily based in Japan, working closely with regional operations across Southeast Asia.
In addition, the division oversees hundreds of local staff across representative offices in Bangladesh and other Southeast Asian countries, creating a highly international and dynamic working environment.
The team collaborates closely with both internal stakeholders and overseas partners to develop and manage large-scale infrastructure projects, while also building new business models beyond traditional contracting. This role requires strong cross-cultural communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively across multiple regions and functions.
