Description
The Senior ERP Consultant is responsible for overseeing and executing key aspects of ERP implementation projects, focusing on the design, configuration, and deployment of ERP systems. This role works directly with clients to understand their business needs, gather requirements, and configure ERP solutions that align with their objectives. The Senior Consultant collaborates with both client and internal teams to ensure successful project execution while mentoring junior consultants and ensuring project deliverables are met within scope and timeline.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Lead ERP implementation projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and configuring ERP solutions to meet client needs
- Conduct system testing, including developing and executing test plans for ERP systems
- Provide expertise on best practices and industry standards during implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with client expectations
- Mentor junior consultants, guiding them on project tasks and supporting their development
- Maintain client relationships by providing expert advice and support throughout the implementation lifecycle
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in ERP system configuration, integration, and testing
- Experience leading ERP implementation projects and managing client relationships
- Experience working with business processes in ERP modules such as finance, supply chain, HR, and manufacturing
- Experience gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and managing project deliverables
- Experience supporting multiple projects concurrently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP integration tools and platforms (e.g., cloud-based ERP suites, middleware, or EDI platforms)
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure or Cloud Applications (SaaS)
- Experience in change management during ERP implementations
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
- Certification in ERP solutions or related fields
