Job Description

Santen is seeking a Manager of Corporate Branding team in Corporate Communications. The position leads efforts to build and reinforce the Santen corporate brand globally with a deep acknowledge of digital communication and corporate brand building.

The role will demonstrate as an executor to establish the foundation of global communication digital platforms and lead the strategic planning and execution of digital communications both externally and internally by closely working with global colleagues in cross-functions by aligning with our strategic purpose.

In addition, we expect the candidate will also demonstrate leadership and execution in managing and building the corporate brand, which is an important aspect of integrated corporate communications.

  • Continuously evolve internal and external communications to promote the understanding and the engagement towards Santen with key stakeholders.
  • Develop contents strategy and create and deploy compelling stories that enhance Santen’s corporate values through media mix of the owned, shared, and paid media.
  • Establish governance rules and execute digital platform integration for communication channels (website, internal portal site, and social media) to be one Santen globally with digital specialized partners.
  • Manage corporate branding elements and develop brand building plans to establish and penetrate corporate brand globally.

Qualifications

Education/certification/language:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, journalism or related field.
  • Japanese native and English fluency (written and verbal)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in communications or public relations in a multi-national company, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record in planning and execution of digital platform integration on a global scale.
  • Experience in developing integrated communication strategy and creating contents hands-on for website, in-house letters, internal Portal site, social media, etc.
  • Preferably experience in managing corporate brand and delivering corporate brand building communication/promotion.

Skills:

  • Knowledgeable and capable of digital communications and digital platform (i.e. CMS).
  • Skilled storytelling and content creation aligned with corporate communication strategy.
  • A self-starter with strong project management skills and ability to organize, prioritize and execute under uncertainties and complex environment.
  • Strong sense of business, multi-task, and adept at moving with agility, flexibility and ownership with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to manage global projects under cross-cultural environment and different business situation by regions by coordinating with diverse stakeholders under pressure.
