The Role

This position is for an experienced Digital Workplace Consultant with a background in Microsoft technologies, focusing on the latest versions of SharePoint and Microsoft 365, with some exposure to Power Platform, Azure and supporting technologies.
Combining client facing consulting capabilities with hands-on solution delivery, our Consultants liaise with clients, software development teams and user experience designers to ensure our solutions are beautifully designed and effectively delivered. Your business insight and thought leadership, will enable you to solve high profile, real-world business problems with outstanding results.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating in-person and digital workshops
  • Work closely with our clients as a trusted advisor completing analysis and facilitating workshops to understand their problems and form recommendations
  • Envisioning and Conceptual Solution design
  • Detailed solution and technical design and implementation of business solutions based on Microsoft 365, with focus on SharePoint and Teams
  • Light touch project management and budget control of your projects
  • Production of technical and user documentation, and operational hand-over
  • Providing technical and end user training to both internal and external clients

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Native-level Japanese speaker with ability to communicate internally in English (all client work will be in Japanese)
  • Extensive experience on Microsoft platforms, in particular the SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and the broader Microsoft 365 platform
  • Application design and delivery experience with the SharePoint platform
  • Experienced in developing a client delivery strategy and roadmap
  • Experienced delivering in-person and digitally delivered workshops
  • Ability to manage stakeholders of varying degrees and comfortable managing execs and project teams
  • Proven ability to write high quality documentation
  • Understanding of information architecture as it applied to Digital Workspaces
  • Ability to work from own initiative and within a team environment
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success in a consulting environment
  • Ability to manage workload and time according to set deadlines

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience leading complex engagements
  • Experience in Enterprise Content Management and Search
  • Experience with complex SharePoint migrations
  • Experience in presales including drafting proposal and RFP responses
  • Business analysis skills/experience
  • IT Programme/Project Management, Agile Delivery
