As an Application Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our applications. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.
Roles and responsibilities
* Infrastructure management and server operations (patching, etc.) using both cloud and on-premise environments
* Operation of systems (ticketing system, POS, inventory management system, etc.)
* Establishment and operation of a monitoring environment for failure detection and capacity planning
* Operation of global platform in conjunction with overseas teams
* Promotion of operations as a member of the team
Requirements and characteristics
* Able to use both English and Japanese for business
* Ability to communicate and think logically
* Ability to adapt to change
* High interest in IT technology and willingness to learn
* A high level of curiosity about new technologies
* Experience in development using automation languages and scripts
* Experience in building Linux OS environment and operating Windows and Linux servers
* Experience in Windows IIS Server environment and network construction
* Experience in operating virtual environment (VMWare)
* Experience in DB (SQL Server, Oracle) operation
* More than 3 years of continuous service operation experience
* Knowledge of IT system life cycle management
