Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct RF testing using XCAL tool. Must have good command on XCAL tool usage. 2. Conduct drive test and optimization activities such as comparative testing. (Benchmarking drive test), features testing, worst cell analysis, RF basic KPI improvement. Analyze results according to KPIs, adjust signal problem areas, present solutions to customers to achieve goals according to KPIs and send reports as required. Agree with the customer according to the SLA deadline. (2) Optimization from drive test results according to KPI until achieving goals according to project needs. (3) Support External Interference Hunting and send reports of searches. (4) Check relevant network parameters such as alarms and check various cell resources before drive testing for quick analysis and troubleshooting methods. (5) Support Antenna adjustment according to the proposed solution according to customer approval. (6) Manage the team, plan work for the team and help solve various problems that are obstacles causing work delays (7) Able to provide advice to the team and customers. and negotiate work with customers to deliver services within the project time frame Able to present project reports according to project objectives, both technical and work plans within the time frame. (8) Has high experience in Optimization work and can work in OMC and OSS at a good level.
What are we looking for?
1. Minimum 3+ years of Drive test and drive test analysing experience using XCAL/TEMS/NEMO.
2. 2G/3G/4G(LTE)/5G Mobile Technologies understanding (functionalities and standards).
3. Be a strong team player.
4. Fluent and confident English language skills, both verbal & written.
5. Basic level of Japanese language is preferred
6. Ability to work flexibility, taking ownership for the engineering function and demonstrate
ability to take on additional tasks to achieve project deadlines.
7. Understanding of RF theory
8. Stationary and/or Drive test using data collection tool XCAL, PCTEL scanner and spectrum analyser.
9. Test cases include stationary tests, speed tests, cluster drives, SSV mobility drives etc.
10. Must be able to monitor and handle test configuration involving 1 8 devices/phones, scanner, antennas etc. among other RF equipment 11. Excellent analytical and communication skills 12. Good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office 13. Holds a valid driving license with clean driving record. 14. Ability to use GPS navigation tools such as Google Maps, Google Earth, Microsoft Streets & Trips for navigation, Delorme Street Atlas 15. Must be proactive to troubleshoot issues 16. Provide daily summary reports
