This position is for an experienced ECU / ADAS Software Architect who can design and lead scalable, safety-critical architectures for next-generation automotive systems. The role requires strong experience in ECU/ADAS architecture, automotive embedded software, AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive, and SoC/MPU integration.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and lead scalable software architectures for ADAS ECUs
- Define AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive layered architecture and integrations
- Optimize SoC/MPU resource utilization and system performance
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 safety and ISO 21434 cybersecurity
- Translate customer requirements into software specifications and module design
- Collaborate with HW/BSW teams and manage system integration
- Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure ASPICE-aligned development
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical risk assessments
Required Skills / Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years in automotive embedded software with ECU/ADAS architecture experience
- Strong expertise in AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive
- Experience with SoC/MPU resource optimization and integration
- Experience translating system requirements into software design
- Advanced business-level Japanese and English
- English for communication with the offshore team and Japanese for communication with customers
Preferred Skills / Preferred Qualifications
- ASPICE exposure preferred
- Hands-on experience in safety ISO 26262 and cybersecurity ISO 21434 design
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments
- Strong HW–SW co-design and low-level system knowledge
- Experience in technical risk assessment and trade-off analysis
