Job Description:

  • Research and development of elemental technologies related to automotive power electronics components such as inverters, DC/DC converters, and OBCs.
  • Research and development will be conducted with the following three pillars, focusing on improving the output density of power electronics components.
  • Miniaturization and Weight Reduction
    • Research and development of new material application.
    • Dissimilar material joining.
    • Optimization of structure and configuration.

  • Cooling Performance Improvement
    • Research and development of new cooling methods.
    • Reduction of thermal resistance for cooling power devices and components.

  • Power Conversion Efficiency Improvement (Loss Reduction)
    • Research and development of new circuit topologies/control methods.
    • Utilization of WBG devices.
    • In addition to the above, we can also create research and development projects.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience in power electronics technology development (design/experimentation).
  • Experience in power electronics system/circuit design and development (design/experimentation).
  • Experience in semiconductor power device drive circuit/control technology development (design/evaluation).
  • Experience in semiconductor power device element technology development (component application).
  • Experience in semiconductor power device cooling technology development (thermal design).
  • Structural design/development experience (enclosure design).
  • Electrical interference countermeasures/development experience (EMC).
  • University Graduate School.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Introduction/startup of CAE tools and evaluation equipment/devices related to [Mandatory].
  • Practical experience in the automotive industry (regardless of OEM/supplier): 3 years or more.
  • Experience in bringing developed products to market (mass production development experience).
  • Experience in independent research at a university or research institution (including industry-academia collaborative research while employed by a company).

Language Proficiency: Business (JLPT N2) level Japanese and Business level English, Korean (Preferred)
