As the Raw Material Planning Supervisor,


you will be responsible for coordination, control, execution, alignment and improvement of the Raw Material Planning processes for Flavors NA. You will ensure a timely availability of raw materials within the Supply Chain, in order to meet the customer requested delivery date against the lowest costs.

Job Requirements

As the Raw Material Planning Supervisor, your key responsibilities will be…

  • Lead a team of 5 people by managing their performance according to established metrics and developing their professional skills.
  • Optimize the team's workload distribution.
  • Collaborate with IP's Master Planner to continuously revise and optimize master data and processes.
  • Keep planning processes and procedures up to date / up to standard and documented in accordance to quality standards (measurement by metrics)
  • Timely conversion of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders.
  • Pro-actively address and solve exception messages and supply issues with suppliers and logistic service providers.
  • Communicate and/or escalate any issues or delays with internal departments such as Production Planning, Inventory Control, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Customer Service.
  • Follow up on vendor complaints and obtain root cause, corrective actions and preventive actions from the vendors.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor degree in logistics, supply management, operations management or related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization, coordinating and planning skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and orientation toward customer service with a high degree of flexibility.
  • Attention to detail, complete understanding of ERP systems and knowlege of business practices related to the planning, scheduling and production functions.
  • Preferred: APICS CPM or CPM certification.

Required Experiece

  • At least 5 years operational planning or related experience.
  • Preferred: previous Flavors or related industry experience.
