The FP&A Manager is responsible for building and managing budgets based on internal accounting data, conducting ongoing financial control throughout the fiscal year, producing accurate forecasts, and supporting business execution from a finance perspective.

You will perform financial analysis to manage P&L and support future planning for WS Audiology Japan. In addition, you will oversee accounting, financial closing, and tax-related functions for Hearing Express Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of WS Audiology Japan.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end management accounting (FP&A) for WSA Japan, including annual budget planning, financial control, and management reporting

  • Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and P&L forecasting

  • Conduct financial analysis on WSA Japan's profit and loss position to support senior management decision-making

  • Oversee full-cycle accounting operations for Hearing Express Co., Ltd., a WSA Japan subsidiary, including financial closing and tax-related matters

  • Drive financial controls throughout the fiscal year to ensure plans are executed on track and variances are identified early

  • Report regularly to the FP&A Senior Manager on business performance, financial risks, and operational updates.

What you bring

  • Hands-on experience in FP&A, management accounting, budgeting, and financial control within a multinational or foreign-affiliated company

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations

  • Working knowledge of accounting systems and intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, financial templates)

  • Experience with English-language accounting and ability to communicate confidently in English with regional and global stakeholders

  • Native-level Japanese proficiency — essential for cross-functional collaboration and subsidiary accounting work in Japan

  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment.
