Department Overview
As the Group Affairs and Facilities Management Supervisory Department (GAFMD) of Rakuten Group, Inc., our mission is to provide a high-productivity office environment-covering both physical and operational aspects-across all domestic offices, from headquarters to regional branches.
The RM/RTS General Affairs Section is responsible for the general affairs functions of Rakuten Mobile, Inc. and Rakuten Total Solutions, Inc., two major subsidiaries within Rakuten Group.
We contribute to the growth of these companies by providing appropriate and timely office environment support and employee services in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Position Details
Based on your experience and aptitude, you will be assigned to one or more of the following areas:
- Office facility operations (equipment management, seating arrangements, security management, etc.)
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
- Large-scale internal meetings/event management
- Development and improvement of rules and policies
- Handling employee inquiries
- Other general affairs operations
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Ability to balance enforcement of internal rules and policies while maintaining open communication with employees
- Ability to handle numbers and data in a logical manner
- A strong sense of contribution toward supporting the general affairs organization and the company as a whole
- Eagerness to transform existing workflows through AI utilization and other innovative approaches
Work Environment
- A team of approximately 20 members
- The majority of team members are mid-career hires
- In addition to those with a general affairs background, we also have members with experience in sales, HR, legal, accounting, and other functions
- Our members come from a wide range of industries-not limited to IT/telecommunications-including manufacturing, staffing, consulting, and more
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Professional work experience (3+ years)
- Communication skills to collaborate smoothly with internal and external stakeholders
- Basic IT literacy to proactively drive operational improvements through the use of various AI tools
Desired Qualifications:
- Business-level English proficiency or above (TOEIC 800+)
- Experience in facility management
- Experience in organizational management
Certifications
- Health Supervisor
- Fire Protection Manager/Disaster Prevention Manager
- Certified Facility Manager of Japan (CFMJ)
