How you’ll make an impact

  • You will influence government policy and legislative direction to improve the regulatory and economic environment

  • You will build and maintain relationships with governments, trade associations, industry coalitions, and public authorities

  • You will monitor, analyze and report on policy and regulatory developments, including emerging trends and position papers.

  • You will educate business leaders and the public on the potential impacts of legislation.

  • You will develop and implement government relations initiatives such as outreach, advocacy campaigns, and engagement programs.

  • You will act as a subject matter expert, managing complex projects, guiding junior professionals, and solving challenging issues.

  • You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Living Hitachi Energy’s core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor's degree.

  • Experience in government relations in the energy industry.

  • Business level Japanese and Business level English.

  • High communication and stakeholder management skills.
