Position Summary
)
Labor Relations Manager will design/propose/implement the new HR program to meet business & diverse employees' needs based on the J&J culture. Contribute to create a Well-Being work environment for employees. Point of contact for Innovative medicine Labor Union negotiation. Handle the compliance and other ER cases to mitigate labor risks. The work is performed under guidance from ERLR Lead.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
)

HR Policy design and implementation (30%)
• Design, propose and implement "best in class" HR policies which are complied with local labor laws and aligned with J&J culture. Propose to Japan President Council.
• Conduct policy integration and transition by business acquisitions and divestitures.
• Identifies Japanese Labor & Employment Law changes and market trends, provide appropriate action plans and implement in a timely manner.

Comply with labor laws and create a well-being work environment for employees (10%)
• Conduct required notification to Labor Standard Inspection Office and/or related ministries and respond to inquiries from them.
• Identify governmental decisions and market trends regarding labor issues and provide appropriate action plans in a timely manner.
• Create Well-Being environment through providing new work styles.

Labor Union Activities (20%)
• Take ownership on preparation for labor union negotiation by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attending Labor Union negotiation and lead the discussion.
l
Employee Relations (40%)
• Manage employee relations cases including compliance cases and conducts investigations for employee relations issues, providing written investigation summaries.
• Prepare and hold disciplinary committee meetings.

Required Qualifications
)

Required Qualification:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or Law Degree.
l 7 years of general HR experience. Employee and Labor Relations (ERLR), especially HR program planning and Labor Union negotiation.
• Business level of English in verbal and written.

Required knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge and understanding of applicable Japanese labor union and employment laws, trends, policies, and practices are required.
• The successful candidate will be a logical and strategic thinker with the ability to execute on strategy.
• A willingness to take initiative and try new challenges.
• Strong analytical skills, results oriented, strong business acumen and ownership.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships.
