My client is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead their team in Japan.

Description
* Lead and manage the HR operations team, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services.
* Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including but not limited to payroll administration, benefits administration, HRIS management, employee data management, and compliance.
* Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and workflows to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR business partners, talent acquisition, and finance, to support the overall HR strategy and initiatives.
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits administration, resolving any issues or discrepancies as needed.
* Manage vendor relationships and contracts for HR services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and service quality.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes, systems, and service delivery, leveraging technology and best practices.
* Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations, proactively addressing compliance requirements and risks.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree
* Fluency in Japanese and at least business-level proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills.
* At least 7 years of HR operations experience in Japan, preferably in a multinational company with at least 500 employees.
* Strong understanding of Japanese labor laws and regulations, with experience ensuring compliance in HR operations.
* Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
* Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
* Experience with HR shared services model is desirable but not mandatory.
