Job Purpose:
As a HR Specialist, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end operational HR services, support HR systems and programs to achieve high standard of service delivery for the business and employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for full cycle of payroll processing in compliance with statutory requirements and company polices.
Prepares monthly, quarterly & annual payroll and payroll-related submissions in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
Be the custodian and key user for payroll, leave and related workday portals/modules.
Responsible for supporting recruitment process from Workday system’s job postings, work pass applications, to onboarding.
Prepares employment contracts and ensures new hire documentation is completed and processed.
Maintains and updates employee data records in HRIS accurately and timely related to hiring, transferring, promoting and terminating.
Maintains employee documents and records in accordance with company's policies and legislative requirements.
Conducts HR induction for new hires as appropriate.
Be the contact point for HR data management and the key user for HRIS (Workday, payroll IT system – Times Software), and expert in HR policies / guidelines.
Ensure data accuracy in Workday (HR system of record)
Support all HR audits and ensure that working practices in HR is following company’s overall governance and compliance guidelines.
Prepares monthly & quarterly HR analytics/reports required by business & finance.
Support Compensation analytics where applicable
Reviews and updates Employee handbook and HR policies and procedures in a timely manner
Support sales incentive payout reporting and accurate maintenance of sales plan assignment.
Training Administration
Stays up-to-date with changes in local employment legislations.
Ad hoc HR/Payroll projects
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Degree/Diploma qualified in HRM or any related field of studies.
Minimum 2 years’ HR Operations experience, preferable in an MNC environment
Working knowledge of broad-based HR disciplines including payroll & compensation-related practices, recruitment, training administration, diversity, labor laws
Able to work with limited supervision for scope of work.
Be meticulous in your work and possess a can-do attitude.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
An excellent team player
Take initiative to identify and anticipate employees’ or business needs and make recommendations for implementation.
Proficient in MS office, especially in MS Excel
