Position Summary

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a growth mindset. You will be given the exciting opportunity to perform projects and tasks related to the planning and execution of medium to large projects and complexity with focus on the area of packaging solutions in accordance with the Sika demand and strategy. The position is usually requiring short or long term domestic and international business travel.

Main function/responsibility/competencies

• Development of new packaging ideas and solutions from idea to realization/implementation. Special focus is on sustainability: Work with suppliers, customers and regulation bodies to promote sustainable packaging solutions.
• Secure knowledge transfer between entities and ensure role out of new developed solutions.
• Documentation of new development project progress in Product Creation Process.
• Global Contact for smart and sustainable packaging solutions.
• Collaboration with factories to ensure that new solutions can be implemented in manufacturing.
• Keep up to date on new available solutions and packaging technologies.
• Write patents to secure Sika’s position in smart & sustainable packaging solutions.
• Develop and introduce new packaging solutions in collaboration with all relevant internal and external bodies.
• Coordinate packaging projects (development, implementation, harmonization).
• Recognizing and analyzing packaging trends and implementing them accordingly within the Sika Group.
• Technical support and improvement of existing packaging.

資格

• Qualified to degree level in packaging engineering or similar technical field.
• Significant past experience in the project management and progression of projects within cross-functional teams are good to have.
• Experiences of direct communication with customers and supplier.
• Position open for both natives and foreigners who masters Japanese language.
• English skills ideally minimum on intermediate level.
