The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an IPSS IV Site Management Sales Representative in Japan, you will play a key role in driving growth for IV Site Management products by partnering with hospitals, healthcare professionals, distributors, and internal teams. In this role, you will make an impact by:
- Drive sales strategies and execution plans for IV Site Management products to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop territory and account strategies based on product lifecycle stages, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to protect and grow core product lines.
- Lead product introduction, adoption, and continued-use activities within assigned hospitals, hospital groups, and group purchasing organization accounts.
- Achieve growth targets for assigned distributors by working closely with channel partners and internal channel teams to execute agreed sales plans.
- Collaborate with other sales groups and related departments to contribute to the overall growth of the sales department.
- Provide product recommendations and up-to-date clinical information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct educational sessions and product demonstrations to support customers’ understanding of proper product use and related clinical knowledge.
- Engage with key hospital stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, infection control professionals, materials management teams, and other administrative departments.
- Plan and execute territory activities, including academic congresses, workshops, seminars, and other customer engagement programs.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years of proven sales experience in the medical device industry.
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to build trust with diverse hospital stakeholders and achieve sales targets.
- Demonstrated success in developing mutually beneficial partnerships with distributors.
- Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) for effective sales pipeline management and customer relationship management (CRM).
- Valid driver’s license.
Work location: Fukuoka, Japan
· Hybrid (Onsite and Remote): Eligible
Travel: May include up to 20% domestic travel.
