About the Role:

The is in charge of planning, executing, and assessing annual plan for the brand and covers a full brand scope with high focus on delivering the holistic 360 degrees marketing plan, including ATL/BTL programs and events, portfolio review, with accountability for budget, activity ROI assessment and P&L.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive understanding, tracking and sharing across the market

  • Analyze both, consumer and Nielsen data, identify gaps and propose new solutions to drive business and brand growth

  • Present and share brand performance on a regular basis with the Management team, Sales & Commercial team, Distributor Team

  • Work closely with the Regional Marketing Team to share and obtain best practices, provide and request information as needed

  • Contribute to the marketing strategy development. Provide insights and play the key role in defining brand targets, sales mix, net sales, gross margin and marketing contribution as well as volumes and sales value budget

  • Effectively manage and execute to budget and on time all brand marketing activities

  • Lead sales and market launch initiatives, execute new product market launches

  • Manage and execute timely delivery of media plans, working closely with media agency

  • Develop local and language adaptations of advertising, working closely with advertising agency

  • Develop and manage social media calendar and activations, working with social media agency

  • Develop, manage and execute events and activations for the brand, working closely with event management agency

  • Participate in preparing key strategic plans defining volumes, P&L, activity plan

  • Provide ongoing monthly tracking of brand performance across both Nielsen and consumer data

  • Manage carefully and to time the multiple RDP/packaging projects for the brand across the year, keeping all stakeholders a regularly updated on the progress of RDP development and flag issues on time

  • Manage brand budgets and provide updates on brand financials as needed (Budget, SAF (rolling forecast), A&P tracking) to the finance team

Who we are looking for:

  • University Degree in Marketing, Economics, or related fields

  • Relevant professional background and experience in FMCG MNC

  • Strong analytical ability and cognitive thought

  • Communication and collaboration skills with ability manage multiple stakeholders and synthesize their inputs

  • Ability to support interaction with multiple lines of reporting in a remote context. Previous experience in similar set-up is preferred.

  • Experience in managing multitasking projects and dealing with different teams

  • Agility and capability of adapting / multi-tasking in a fast paced and continuously changing environment

  • High sense of responsibility and proactivity i.e. anticipate problems and propose solutions

  • Advanced MS Office skills, familiarity with Nielsen Answers and SAP PO systems is preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills in English and Japanese
