Description
* Oversee the import logistics into Japan, ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining efficiency in customs processes.
* Manage comprehensive inventory control strategies to align with business forecasts and customer demand, enhancing inventory accuracy and turnover.
* Coordinate onward distribution strategies to customers, optimizing delivery schedules and routes for improved service levels.
* Lead the management of third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring they meet performance standards for shipping accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
* Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and minimize operational disruptions.
* Analyze logistics performance data to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement continuous improvements in the supply chain process.
* Facilitate effective communication across sales, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure a unified approach to meeting business objectives.
* Drive technology integration in logistics processes, enhancing data-driven decision-making and operational visibility.
Profile
* Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across functions.
* Demonstrate a proven track record in logistics or supply chain management, achieving measurable results.
* Have a deep understanding of supply chain processes, including shipping, importation, and logistics management.
* Be highly skilled in SAP;
* Business-level English; able to communicate with international teams.
