■Job Responsibility:
Responsible for actuarial reserving and other financial reporting for long-term products; manage the Long-Term valuation team.

■Key Tasks & Accountabilities:
1. Actuarial Reserving and Solvency Reporting
- Lead and manage the long-term actuarial reserving process, including IFRS 17 BBA and Japanese Statutory frameworks, support Swiss Solvency reporting.
- Oversee reserving governance and conduct reviews of reserving results.
- Review experience studies and establish assumptions for mortality, morbidity, and lapse rates.
2. Team Leadership
Serve as the people manager for the long-term valuation team (up to 7~9 members if including APAC), providing guidance and performance management.
3. Forecasting and Business Insights
Prepare forecasts and deliver management insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.

- Internal:UW(underwriting) team, IT, Finance, Claims, Zurich Region & Central Teams
- External:APAC (Zurich Actuarial Service Center), Auditor

■Qualifications / Experience:
1. Qualified Actuary, or near qualification, with a recognized Actuarial Institute.
2. Minimum of 8 years’ actuarial experience within insurance companies; experience in life actuarial or long-term valuation is preferred.
3. Demonstrated team management experience is an advantage.
4. Strong communication skills.
5. Proficient in actuarial software; experience with SAS, Prophet and Databricks is preferred.
6. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Japanese is advantageous.
