Lead building the infrastructure for efficient/ effective sales execution.
Keep challenging the current operational process and improve it leveraging the IT. Lead system upgrade/change projects with global and APAC counterparts, representing Japan commercial operations.
Also responsible to manage/supervise the 7 team members.

  1. Lead the sales process automation
    a. Sales reports, Price/Campaign application form, Campaign tracking
    b. Provide useful reports to enable sales force more effective
    c. Explain and educate the new process to sales operation team (In case some process remain manual)
    d. Conduct user training for new functionality
  2. Improve the legacy system for sales data management
    a. ERP system (currently BAAN, shift to Oracle soon), BI (Cognos), SFDC
    b. Change management for improving Order to Cash processes
    c. Constantly reflect user (sales) feedback to improve usability and reduce user’s paperwork
    d. Communicate with global IT to understand system requirement/limitation
    e. Make sure the process more compliant to legal requirement (Audit proof)
  3. Manage the project requiring system development
    a. Oracle implementation
    b. Understand both business requirement and system requirement for effective project management
    c. Communicate with both domestic and global stake holders
    d. Translate the commercial requirement into system requirement, which IT can understand
    e. Prioritize the requirements
  4. Represent commercial operation for internal projects
    a. Audit process
    b. Price control
  5. Team management/ development
    a. Appropriately assign team members to tasks such as;
    i. Communicate with sales team to be disciplined
    ii. Provide administrative supports
    iii. Help support sales execution
    iv. Publish sales reports, which is to be automated
    b. Communicate and give feedback regularly for team member’s improving their performance
