IHG日本＆ミクロネシアのホテルおよびリゾートの開業、コンバージョン、再開に関連するすべての活動において、部門横断的な開業チームを統括します。本役職は、ポートフォリオに基づき展開されるすべての開業プロジェクトにおいて、コンサルティング的なリーダーシップを発揮します。また、IHG内のオーナーおよび上級幹部に対し、ブランド基準に沿った、予定通りかつ予算内の開業を実現できるよう、影響力を行使し、交渉する責任を負います。新規ホテルの立ち上げを管理し、開業後できるだけ早期にオーナーおよびIHGにとっての収益性を確保します。

職務内容

この役職において、新規ホテル開業シニアマネージャーは、ホテルライフサイクル＆グロース担当シニアディレクターの支援を受け、各新規ホテルにおけるすべての活動において部門横断的な開業チームを率います。これには、IHGホテルの開業と立ち上げを成功させるため、オーナー、デベロッパー、コンサルタント、IHGの広範なチーム、プレオープンチーム、オペレーション部門との関係管理が含まれます。また、開業時の品質および運営基準の遵守を確保するとともに、開業直後から優れた収益実績とゲスト体験を実現するためのコマーシャル部門の立ち上げ計画の実施を確実に行います。

日本＆ミクロネシアのフランチャイズおよびマネージドホテルを含む、すべてのIHGブランドのポートフォリオの開業管理を担当します。

オーナー、デベロッパー、コンサルタント、設計・エンジニアリング部門、開業準備チーム、運営部門などとの関係を、影響力と説得力をもって管理し、IHGブランドのホテルの開業を成功に導きます。

この役職は、パイプラインにあるすべてのホテルの効率的かつ期日通りの開業、および開業日の予測を担当します。

本役職は、シニアプロジェクトマネージャーとして、全ホテルの開業前活動を統括・指揮します。

ホテルライフサイクル＆グロース担当シニアディレクターおよびグロースチームと連携し、IHGの規模拡大目標に沿って、責任を持って各オーナーと開業日を決定します。

総支配人（GM）およびホテルスタッフ向けの開業トレーニングを確実に完了させます。

すべてのプロジェクト現場を視察し、進捗状況を追跡、監視、管理し、主要なステークホルダーに報告します。

開業準備の一環として、広範な成長チームと連携し、開業前検査を実施します。

IHGの代表者として、開業時にすべての法的、安全、ブランド、および商業上の基準が遵守されるよう確保します。

ホテルをオペレーションチームに引き渡す前に、各ホテルと開業後レビューを実施する。

主要指標に基づいて測定される開業後の業績について責任を負う。

開業前のGMをPOB（開業準備）において支援し、必要に応じてオーナーへのプレゼンテーションを行う。

すべての新規ホテルおよび既存ホテルの改装プロジェクトにおいて、提案要件の策定を支援する。

本ポジションは、業務遂行方法の継続的な改善策を積極的に模索する。

このポジションでは、IHGのシステム（HOM、開業認定など）を含む（ただしこれらに限定されない）業務遂行方法の継続的な改善策を積極的に模索します。

学歴

ホスピタリティ業界での実務経験5年以上、または同等の資格

経験

ホテル運営の実務経験（最低2～4年程度）に加え、ホテルの開業に関する具体的な経験があることが極めて有利です。また、マトリックス型のグローバル組織内において、チーム（できれば部門横断型または多職種チーム）を管理した経験も必要です。

Role Purpose

To lead the cross functional opening team in Japan & Micronesia for all activities related to opening, conversion and reopening of hotels and resorts in IHG. This role will form the consultative lead for all openings as disseminated as per this portfolio. This role will be responsible for impacting and influencing owners and senior leaders in IHG to ensure on brand, on time and on budget openings within IHG. This role will also manage the ramp up of new hotels to ensure profitability as soon as practicable post opening for owners and IHG. This key position may lead to potential path to GM postion in the future.

Key Accountabilities

Within this role, the New Hotel Openings Senior Manager will lead the cross functional opening team in all activities for each new hotel, with the support of Sr. Director Hotel Lifecycle & Growth. This includes managing relationships with Owners, Developers, Consultants, the wider IHG team, Pre-opening Teams and Operations to ensure the successful opening and ramp up of IHG hotels. The role also ensures compliance with quality and operational standards upon opening, as well as ensuring the implementation of the commercial ramp-up plans to drive excellent revenue performance and guest experiences upon opening.

Responsible for managing the opening of a portfolio of all IHG brand, both Franchised and Managed hotels.
Managing relationships with impact and influence -including Owners, Developers, Consultants, Design and Engineering, Pre-opening Teams and Operations-to ensure the successful opening of IHG branded hotels.
This role is responsible for the efficient and timely opening of all hotels in the Pipeline; including the forecasting of opening dates.
This role leads and directs all pre-opening activities of all hotels as Project Manager in a senior capacity.
You will set opening dates with respective owners, in partnership with the Sr. Director Hotel Lifecycle & Growth, and the wider Growth team, responsibly and in alignment with IHG’s net system size growth targets.
Ensure the completion of Hotel Opening Training for the GM and Hotel team.
Conduct site visits to all projects to track, monitor, manage and report on progress to key stakeholders.
Conduct pre-opening inspection, in partnership with the wider Growth team, in preparation for opening.
Act as the IHG representative; ensuring compliance to all legal, safety and brand and commercial standards upon opening.
Conducts Post Opening reviews with our hotels before handing them over to our Operations team
Responsibility for post opening performance as measured by our key metrics
Support pre-opening GM with POB and where required present to owners
Supports development in pitch requirements for all new hotels and conversions
This position actively seeks ways for continuous improvement to ways of delivery, including but not limited to IHG systems (HOM , opening certification etc).

Key Skills & Experiences

Education

A minimum of 5yearshospitality experience or equivalent qualification

Experience

Prior hotel operations experience of approximately 2-4 years minimum is extremely beneficial in addition to specific hotel openings experience. You will also have experience managing teams, preferably cross-functional/discipline teams within a matrixed global organisation.
This role is a ‘hands on’ position requiring great personal organisational skills and the ability to motivate and influence key stakeholders. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships.
