Our client's organization in Japan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Biostatistics to join our dynamic team in Tokyo. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing statistical expertise and guidance for clinical trials conducted in Japan, working closely with both local and overseas counterparts.
Responsibilities:
* Provide statistical leadership and support for clinical trials conducted in Japan.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement statistical analysis plans.
* Perform statistical analysis and interpretation of clinical trial data.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Contribute to the development and review of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and study reports.
* Mentor and train junior biostatisticians.
Profile

Requirements:
* Master's or Ph.D. degree in statistics, biostatistics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in biostatistics within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
* Fluent in Japanese and proficient in English (business level) to communicate effectively with local and overseas teams.
* Strong knowledge of statistical methods and techniques used in clinical trials.
* Experience with statistical software such as SAS or R.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
