Essential Duties and Responsibilities

サプライチェーン本部のプランニングチームの一員として、需要・在庫・供給に関するデータ分析を通じて最適な需給計画を策定し、ビジネスの成長と安定供給の両立に貢献いただきます。

売上機会の最大化と在庫の最適化を両立させることで、キャッシュフローの改善や収益性向上に直接インパクトを与えるポジションです。社内の複数部門と連携しながら、サプライチェーン全体の意思決定に関わることができます。

業務内容

・製品ライフサイクルやマーケティング施策を踏まえた需要変動を分析し、最適な在庫戦略および需給計画を策定します。

・需要予測と実績のトレンドをモニタリング・分析し、タイムリーに変更するかどうかを判断します。

・在庫計画と実績パフォーマンスをもとに課題を特定し、最適な在庫状況を維持するための対策を実施します。

・営業、サービス、財務などの関連部門および海外拠点と連携し、データに基づく意思決定と継続的な改善活動を推進します。

Qualification

応募要件

【必須条件】

4年制大学卒

オペレーションやサプライチェーンでの経験3年以上（需要計画や供給計画の経験が望ましい）
基本レベルの英語 / 読み書き（メール・システム等）（海外との英語での会議に参加してコミュニケーション取れることが出来れば尚可）

※現時点でこのレベルに達していなくても継続的に学習いただける方であれば問題ありません

ビジネスレベルの日本語（N1レベル相当）（関係部門と文章および対面のコミュニケーションを取る必要があるため）
Excelを使いこなせること（Lookup関数や関数のネスト、ピボットなど）
SAPやその他のERP、何らかのシステムを使用した経験
コミュニケーション能力と問題解決能力
会計やビジネスに対する知識または興味と学ぶ意欲

【あると好ましい経験】

優れた英語力（読み書き、会話、聞き取り）
Power Query、BIツール、需要予測ツールの使用経験
Lean、Six Sigmaなどの改善手法の学習・実践経験
グローバルなマトリックス型組織での業務経験
S&OPの経験

【その他】

担当製品: 弊社事業ユニットのうち(LSG（ライフサイエンス）, LPG（ラボプロダクツ）, BPG（バイオプロダクション)）いずれかの製品をサポートしていただきます。製品は機器・試薬、消耗品で構成され（例えばDNA シーケンサやPCR, 安全キャビネットなど）、それらの需要管理、在庫管理と供給計画を担当します。

チームメンバーの構成: マネージャーを含めて3名のチームで、現在はマネージャーとシニア・プランナー2名、計3名で業務を遂行しています。他のサプライチェーン内のチームと協力して問題解決にあたることも多く、サプライチェーン全体としては女性比率が高く、ボリュームゾーンとしては30～40代です。
Onboarding Plan: 入社後は、主に上司となるマネージャーからトレーニングを受け、最初は既存のレポート等の理解・KPIにもとづく各数値の分析手法や分析結果からどういったアクションをとるべきかなどを学びます。その後、OJTをしながら担当製品のオーナーとしての独り立ちを目指していくことになります。
将来的なキャリアパス: プランナーとして経験を積んだ後は、より規模が大きい事業部を担当するシニア・プランナーを目指し、よりプランナーを極めることも可能ですし、サプライチェーン本部には様々なチームがありますので、他のチームでサプライチェーン知識・経験の幅を広げるためのキャリアを積むことも可能です。ぜひ主体性をもってキャリア開拓してください。
一日の働き方/スケジュール: 日々の業務は、在庫管理、需要予測の更新、チームや他の部署とのコミュニケーションなど、多岐にわたります。また、定期的にパフォーマンスレビューを行い、業績改善のための戦略を立てます。

As a member of the Planning Team in the Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory as part of our efforts to improve company profitability while continuing to deliver the best products and services to our customers. This is a highly rewarding role where you will contribute to sales, maintain an appropriate balance of inventory, and improve cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

Understand demand fluctuations driven by product lifecycles and marketing campaigns, and optimize inventory levels accordingly.
Monitor demand forecasts against actual trends and make timely decisions on forecast adjustments.
Compare inventory forecasts with actual performance and implement actions to maintain optimal inventory health.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and cross-functional teams (Sales/Service, Finance, etc.) as well as global counterparts to drive problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (4-year university).
3+ years of experience in operations or supply chain; experience in demand planning and/or supply planning is preferred.
Basic English proficiency (reading/writing for emails and systems). Ability to participate in meetings with overseas counterparts in English is a plus. Candidates who are not at this level yet are welcome if they are committed to continuous learning.
Business-level Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent). Frequent written and face-to-face communication with internal stakeholders is required.
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., lookup functions, nested formulas, pivot tables).
Experience using SAP or other ERP systems.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of, or interest in, accounting/business with a willingness to learn.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Strong English skills (reading/writing/speaking/listening).
Experience with Power Query, BI tools, and/or forecasting tools.
Knowledge and/or practical experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience working in a global matrix organization.
Experience with S&OP.

Team & Environment

Scope: You will support products from one of our business units (LSG, LPG, or BPG). The portfolio includes instruments, reagents, and consumables (e.g., DNA sequencers, PCR-related products, biosafety cabinets). You will be responsible for demand management, inventory management, and supply planning for the assigned product lines.
Team Structure: A team of three including the manager (Manager + two Senior Planners). You will also collaborate frequently with other teams within Supply Chain. The Supply Chain organization has a relatively high ratio of female employees, with many team members in their 30s–40s.
Onboarding Plan: You will receive training primarily from your manager. Initially, you will learn existing reports, KPI-based analyses, and how to translate insights into actions. Through OJT, you will progress toward becoming the product owner for your scope.
Career Path: After building experience as a Planner, you may pursue a Senior Planner role with a larger scope, deepen your expertise in planning, or broaden your supply chain experience by moving to other teams within the Supply Chain organization. We encourage proactive career ownership.
Daily Work / Schedule: Daily tasks include inventory management, demand forecast updates, and ongoing communication with the team and other departments. You will also conduct regular performance reviews and develop strategies to improve results.
