WHAT YOU'LL DO


As PR & Communications Specialist for NEA, you lead and execute PR and communication activities that strengthen the brand, manage media relations and internal communications, and ensure consistent messaging across channels in Japan and Korea.



  • Develop and execute local PR and communication strategies aligned with global guidelines, supporting brand objectives across the NEA market

  • Plan and activate PR across formats including press releases, press days, events, and media outreach, building and maintaining strong relationships with media, influencers, and opinion leaders

  • Manage media relations by creating and pitching stories, supporting proactive and reactive media inquiries, and preventing and mitigating crisis situations

  • Oversee collaborations with PR agencies and external partners, ensuring delivery of results is aligned with business and brand goals

  • Monitor and analyze PR performance, media coverage, and sentiment, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

  • Drive internal communications through adaptation of global content and execution of local strategies, while acting as a brand ambassador in all external engagements



WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH


You'll work closely with the marketing team members, collaborating with internal functions, global PR teams, and external agencies and media partners to ensure aligned and impactful communication across Japan and Korea.


This role will be reporting to the Marketing Manager.


WHO YOU ARE


We are looking for people who…



  • Have a degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Bring a minimum of 7 years of experience in PR and/or communications, preferably within fashion, retail, or consumer brands

  • Have strong internal and external communication and stakeholder management skills, with an established network within the fashion industry

  • Are skilled in digital and omni-channel communication, with experience in event management and knowledge of the latest fashion trends

  • Excellent communicators with strong written and verbal skills in English; additional languages as required per market

  • Organized and structured, with the ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously

  • Collaborative and confident, working effectively with internal teams and external partners to deliver clear, consistent, and impactful communication

  • Commercially minded brand ambassadors, representing H&M's image and values in every interaction


This role is open to candidates based in Japan or Korea, preferably Tokyo-based.
