プロジェクトマネージャーとして、Recursiveの持続的かつ長期的な成長を可能にするために、様々なコンサルティングや開発の取り組みを成功させる責任があります。会社が迅速に成長できるような体制を整え、必要なときに必要な人材とプロセスを確保する。同時に、クライアントとのコミュニケーションを円滑にし、全員が状況を把握しているか確認します。複数のタスクを同時にこなす為、多岐に渡る業界のビジネス面や財務面での最新情報を把握することもできます。あなたの役割は、戦略的であると同時に非常に実践的なものであり、後者の経験は豊富ですが、前者の経験からも多くの満足を得ることが出来るはずです。必ずしもテクノロジーのバックグラウンドを持っていなくても、成長と学習意欲があれば、チーム内の専門家を活用してAIやサステナビリティに関する知識を深めていくことが出来ます。組織全体と仕事をし、チームがリモートであっても社内外のチームが必要なコミュニケーションをとっていることを確認します。

About Recursive
As the world's population grows, we are facing a number of global challenges in the realms of environmental conservation, societal equity and ensuring that nobody is left behind in the transition to a digital economy. Artificial intelligence is a key technology to not only address some symptoms of these issues, but also helping create completely new innovative approaches that can create a more sustainable economy and lifestyle.
Recursive is an AI consulting company based in Japan working on developing solutions to some of these challenging problems. We collaborate with large Japanese enterprises to create innovative solutions to sustainability challenges, merging in our expertise in AI research and our client's domain knowledge. Our development projects focus around the main themes of improving efficiency, accelerating innovation, risk mitigation and better work and education.
Recursive is founded by Tiago Ramalho and Katsutoshi Yamada. Tiago was a Senior Research Engineer at Google Deepmind and Lead Research scientist at Cogent labs and brings years of machine learning expertise to the company. Katsutoshi is a serial entrepreneur and AI expert with experience in developing and establishing innovative business models in Japan and abroad.
Founded in 2020, we are now looking to grow and expand our impact further, building on previous successes. One of many initiatives we are currently pursuing is a system to optimize irrigation of peatlands in Indonesia, helping to prevent forest fires and maximize carbon absorption. The Role
As Project Manager you are responsible for ensuring the success of our various consulting and development initiatives to enable sustainable, long-term growth at Recursive. You put in place structures that allow the company to grow quickly and ensure that we have the people and processes in place when we need them. At the same time, you ensure that communication with our clients flows smoothly and everyone is on the same page.
You are great at handling multiple tasks at the same time and have the knowledge and experience to also keep up to date with the business and financial aspects of each contract as part of your role. Your role is very hands-on as well as strategic, so while you are experienced in the latter you must still derive a lot of satisfaction from the former.
While you might not necessarily have a background in technology, you are passionate about growth and learning, and will take advantage of the experts in the team to become knowledgeable about AI and sustainability. You will work across the entire organisation, making sure both internal and external teams are communicating as much as necessary in spite of the remote nature of our team.
Qualifications
- Ability to juggle multiple topics at a time.
- Confident and effective communicator, both internally and externally.
- Attentive to detail, and passionate about documentation.
- Fluent in English and Japanese.
- Familiar with data-driven analytics is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in a Project management role is a plus.
- Experience in AI, IT, fintech or engineering industries is a plus.
- Certificate in Project Management is a plus.
- Knowledge of waterfall/Agile is a major plus.
