Job Responsibilities:
- Understanding the project scope, schedule, deliverables; and working closely with internal stakeholders to recognize their needs and expectations
- Create overall project schedule and participate in or review the project estimations. Maintain the project schedule and budget.
- Collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders, both in-person and through remote working models as needed
- Transition and change management – pre, during and post project implementation
- Project stakeholder management – working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Project scope and schedule management
- Driving periodic project reviews and mitigating risks with due diligence and a data driven approach
- Achieve the project goals of Budget, Schedule and Quality/Scope
- Escalating project issues to the senior management when needed
- Contributing to the delivery of all aspects of the project and services: controlling and reporting on project activities, systems and information security
- Reporting, analyzing, and resolving issues related to the implementation, stakeholders, and project operations that may impact service quality; ensuring that stakeholders’ questions and problems are resolved properly and quickly
- Implementing process optimization, improvements, and modernization initiatives where appropriate
Job Qualifications:
- Strong (near-native) Japanese skills, with business-level English skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 15 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Japanese citizens and those authorized to work in Japan are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
- At least 8 years of experience in customer-facing project management on ERP projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP/Salesforce/Oracle ERP projects
- PMP Certified Practitioner or similar qualification.
- Strong (near-native) Japanese skills, with business-level Japanese skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Required languages: Fluent level Japanese proficiency(JLPT N1)
