What You Will Do
The position is responsible for:
• This position has responsible for JNTL Consumer Health Japan as primary role. This includes both Quality System and Product (Franchise) Quality for ensuring compliance to the applicable regulation (GQP/GMP/QMS and/or Food regulation) and Kenvue policy, standard & procedures. In addition, supports operations of HQ and DC.
Key Responsibilities
GQP Quality Assurance
• Ensure that Franchise product quality in accordance with local regulations and Kenvue policies and standard.
• Execute and support GQP and Medical Device QMS operations for assigned franchise products. GQP operations include deviation and non-conformance handling, CAPA, change control, annual product review, Quality management review, GMP audit, quality metric review, supplier management, etc.
• Be responsible for new product launch from quality perspective for assigned Franchise.
• Support and implement GQP and QMS continuous improvement.
• Support regulatory inspection and GRC audit.
• Contribute Quality intelligence program to assess and monitor Japanese regulation, standards and guidance document related to GxP, as well as Kenvue policy and standard.
• Comply with Japanese Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act, Kenvue policy and standard.
• Ensure product quality according to Japanese consumer/customer requirements.
• Participate in relevant meetings with global teams for assigned franchise products.
GMP Management
• Support and improve GMP and QMS, change control, deviation handling, document control, CAPA, training, product complaints investigation, outsourced process control, etc. GMP and QMS needs to be aligned with Kenvue quality policy and standard at Distribution Center and External Manufacturing Sites.
• Manage related suppliers through regular audit.
• Escalate significant quality event according to Kenvue procedure.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Bachelors or master's degree in science, preferably in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry or Pharmacy.
• Additionally, a pharmacist license is preferable, but not mandatory
Desired Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to manage relationship development and maintenance and negotiation skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Japanese regulations applicable to Drug, Quasi-drug and Cosmetics.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English is preferable.
• Good communication capability to facilitate effective interaction and motivate the team members.
• Self-leadership and motivation with high personal integrity and application of Kenvue value
