The Role: Senior Research Analyst, Japan Issuer Solutions

The Team: Our team is one of major IR (Investor Relations) advisor in Japan. Our clients range from very large to medium-sized companies in a variety of industries. Our business is expanding rapidly due to the regulatory environment changes and the record high level of activists’ campaigns.
The Impact: Identify actual shareholders of client companies. Through such shareholder identification research and the provision of various stock market-related advisory services, contribute to the efficient and effective IR engagement of client companies, and thereby improve the valuation of the Japanese stock market.

Responsibilities:
• Perform analytical work to identify actual shareholders of client companies
• Prepare shareholder identification reports and provide other IR advisory services to clients
• Communication with global colleagues on project details and to ensure proper processing of data
• Communication with clients regarding materials for launching research projects and provided reports
What We’re Looking For:
Key qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
• Fluency in verbal and written business Japanese, Intermediate English communication skills
• Ability to work together as a team
• Self-motivated, takes initiative and enjoys new challenges
Key soft skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in Investor Relations or Financial Industry is a plus but not necessary
• Attention to detail
• Experience working collaboratively within a multi-national corporation
