Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of FTSE Russell Indexes, by identifying new opportunities within current clients or new prospects
- Lead targeted Sales Campaigns focused at generating new business
- Engage clients and prospects offering innovative, tailored, and/or jointly developed Index solutions, making use of products and solutions across the group
- Identify and nurture relationships with key persons and influencers at all levels
- Become a trusted expert on market trends and clients requirements - having knowledge of clients' businesses, problems and future development goals
- Communicate and coordinate client requirements internally - in areas related to new index go-to-market plans, existing or new product development, and cross-selling opportunities across the group
- Raises client problems and coordinates towards solutions
- Capture, Share and maintain information in structured and orderly manner
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years+ experience of proven ability in sales / new business development within the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of investment management process and ecosystem, both domestically and globally, across multiple asset-classes
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Solutions-based selling experience
- Willingness to learn and ability to learn faster
- Strong desire to explore greater personal growth
- Business level proficiency in Japanese and English
